  • GAME DRIVE

    Game drives in the Mara Triangle are the heart of the safari experience, where vast grasslands teeming with wildlife, including Africa’s Big Five and the great migratory herds, create unforgettable scenes. While there is no best time to visit, wildlife is plentiful year-round. For those seeking the great migration and Mara River crossing, July to October is ideal. Others may prefer the quieter months with fewer visitors to enjoy the resident herds and the tranquil beauty of the reserve.

  • AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

    Amboseli National Park, named after the Maa word “empusel” meaning “salty, dusty place,” is famous for its iconic photos of elephants roaming the dry lakebed. The park has a diverse landscape and is home to lions, cheetahs, hippos, flamingos and more than 400 species of birds. Some elephants, known as Super Tuskers, have tusks so large they touch the ground. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Amboseli is a top safari destination in East Africa, with Mount Kilimanjaro as a stunning backdrop.

  • DISCOVER MASSAI CULTURE

    The Maasai, according to their oral history, migrated from the Nile River region into the Great Rift Valley around 300 years ago and now live as nomadic herders in Kenya and Tanzania. Despite the many challenges they face, they have retained their traditions and are known for their tall stature, red shukas and elaborate beaded jewellery. The land around Angama is leased from Maasai landowners, and most of the staff at Angama, including guides, naturalists and chefs, are from the local Maasai community, giving visitors the opportunity to interact with them.
