PROJECTED ITINERARY

  • DAY 1 | START YOUR JOURNEY IN BUENOS AIRES

    • International flight to and overnight stay in Buenos Aires
  • DAY 2 | ARRIVE IN USHUAIA, ARGENTINA

    • Flights from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
    • Upon arrival in the charming city of Ushuaia, you will be transferred to your group hotel (transfers are included in the mandatory package). This small Argentinian town is the perfect gateway to explore the southernmost region of Patagonia before embarking on your adventure. Enjoy the stunning mountain views or sample artisan chocolates at one of the town’s cafes. Details of the pre-trip meeting will be posted in the hotel lobby.
  • DAY 3 | BOARDING

In the afternoon, you'll board your ship. The ship will sail through the historic Beagle Channel, a sea passage that cuts through the Tierra del Fuego archipelago at the southern tip of South America. There's an air of excitement as the ship sets sail—the next time you see land will be on the world's southernmost continent.

  • DAY 4 & 5 | CROSSING THE DRAKE STREET

The Drake Passage is known for its strong winds and large waves, but you may be lucky enough to encounter rare calm seas. During your time on board, you can relax in the lounge or chat with your fellow travelers. While you get used to the rhythm of the ocean, the Expedition Team will begin a series of briefings to prepare you for the Zodiac trips and upcoming landings. You officially enter Antarctica when the ship crosses the Antarctic Convergence—the biological boundary around 60° South latitude.

  • DAY 6–9 | SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS AND THE ANTARCTIC PENINSULA

The overwhelming and awe-inspiring feeling when setting foot on the 7th Continent is one of awe and admiration. This experience is hard to describe in words, because there are few places in the world that still retain the pristine and sustainable beauty of Antarctica. You will understand why this land has long fascinated so many explorers and tourists.

Each day, you’ll hop aboard the Zodiac boat to explore ice fjords, straits and landing sites. The Expedition Team will accompany you at each stop, whether trekking across icy terrain, visiting research stations or spotting Chinstrap, Adélie and Gentoo penguins. Keep an eye out for Weddell seals, fur seals, crabeater seals and leopard seals, as well as curious whales such as humpbacks, minkes and even killer whales during your Zodiac cruise.

In the absolute silence, noisy moments become unforgettable memories—like the sound of penguins fighting over a gem, or the explosions and cracks as ice collapses from a giant glacier.

Each day will bring new experiences, carefully designed by the Expedition Team to inspire and educate about this wonderful land.

  • DAY 10 & 11 | CROSSING DRAKE STREET BACK

Back in the Drake Passage, you’ll have more opportunities to enjoy the fresh Antarctic air. Spend time on deck watching for seabirds, spotting whales, or joining the Expedition Team for more sharing sessions and celebrating the journey.

  • DAY 12 | DISMISSING THE SHIP IN USHUAIA

    • In the morning, the ship docks in Ushuaia, allowing you to continue your South American exploration or catch a flight back to Ushuaia.
    • Flight from Ushuaia back to Buenos Aires
  • DAY 13 | END OF TOUR

    • International flights departing from Buenos Aires
