A Story 30 Years in the Making
For three decades, the Eastern & Oriental Express has been creating inspiring adventures since its inaugural journey from Bangkok to Singapore in 1993. After American businessman James B. Sherwood acquired luxurious train carriages from Japan, they were meticulously refurbished in Singapore with an exquisite design that captures the essence of ancient Indochina.
Today, as the sister train to the world-famous Venice Simplon-Orient Express, A Belmond Train, this extraordinary journey takes you through Southeast Asia, allowing you to discover and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Malaysia.
The Journey of a Lifetime
