DAY 1

Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your family will be greeted by a member of the &BEYOND team who will transfer you to the vibrant capital city of Nairobi.
If time permits, you can choose from a number of exciting activities (surcharges apply).
As the only city in the world with a national park right next door, Nairobi is the heart of East Africa with many unique attractions, from vibrant markets to fascinating historical sites like the Karen Blixen Museum (which recreates her life in the famous work Out of Africa ).
Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation, where you can adopt a baby elephant and meet this gentle giant.
Visit the Giraffe Center to learn about the conservation of Rothschild giraffes and you can even feed them.

DAY 2 - 3

Masai Mara, Kenya
Day 2: Laikipia
After breakfast, your family will be transferred to Wilson Airport for a domestic flight to Lewa Airstrip.
Here, you will be taken to Lewa Wildlife Sanctuary – a pioneer in conservation and a favourite destination for photographers, celebrities and documentary filmmakers.
Laikipia is the perfect place to feel nature underfoot, hike in the wilderness and meet the Samburu and Maasai people – the indigenous inhabitants of the area.
Activities included: wildlife drives and nature walks.
If you’re feeling more adventurous, try a helicopter ride (additional charge), or a horse safari (additional charge); kids can also go horseback riding around the resort or take a baking class – delicious!
Day 3: Laikipia
Rise early with the sunrise for an exciting game drive, learn about the conservation spirit that characterizes the reserve, track down the Big Five and hear from guides about the wildlife rehabilitation program.
Children will enjoy learning Swahili and chatting with locals – a fun and emotional experience.
The whole family can also try camel riding to explore the wilderness (surcharge).
As the sun sets, enjoy colorful cocktails amidst the sounds of wild nature.
Dine together under the starry sky of Laikipia.

DAY 4 - 6

Lewa Conservancy, Kenya
After days of adventure in Laikipia, your family will continue their journey by flying to Masai Mara.
On the way back to the resort, kids can start taking notes on the animals on the first game drive here.
For families with young children – &BEYOND’s naturalists will organize a WILDchild program, in which children learn Maasai survival skills: making fires, shooting arrows, making bracelets from beads… Children can also join nature walks to identify butterflies, animal footprints, trees, or bake cupcakes with the chef for afternoon tea – how exciting!
For families with older children and teenagers – explore a Maasai village (at an additional cost) with a professional walking guide. They will meet the village chief, greet each other with “Jambo” and be invited to see how the locals live.
During your stay, the whole family can also experience hot air ballooning over the Masai Mara (surcharge).
Plus, you'll enjoy two game drives a day, including exciting night rides and guided nature walks – there's plenty of family fun to be had.

DAY 7 | End of Trip

After breakfast, you will be taken to the tarmac for your return flight to Wilson Airport.
From here, you will be picked up and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your connecting flight.
