DAY 1: SINGAPORE – KUALA LUMPUR
Begin your journey by boarding the iconic green and cream carriages of the Eastern & Oriental Express at Woodlands Station, Singapore. Relax in your modern carriage and take in the lush green landscape as you roll along, setting off on a journey into the Malaysian wilderness. After a scenic afternoon tea in your private compartment, an exquisite dinner with entertainment awaits you in the dining car.

DAY 2: KUALA LUMPUR – LANGKAWI
- While enjoying breakfast in your private compartment, take in the scenic views as the train passes through the rice fields and traditional villages of West Malaysia.
- After lunch, you can choose one of the following exciting tours:
- Get off the train at Arau Station and drive to the harbour, then continue by speedboat to one of Langkawi’s most beautiful beaches. Relax in absolute tranquility, reconnect with nature and indulge in wellness activities. Enjoy yoga, sound baths, massages, swim in the sea or nearby pools, and indulge in tropical fruits, grilled skewers and healthy drinks. The journey to paradise continues with a boat ride through the narrow channels of Kilim Geoforest, where mangroves meet coastal limestone mountains to create a magical landscape.
- The second option is an adventurous exploration of Perlis Geopark – Malaysia’s newly designated 10th national geopark. Cycle through spectacular landscapes filled with primates and birds, then explore a mysterious old tin mine and learn about its unique history.
- Or the ultimate option for those who love art and culture: you'll learn how to make batik (traditional fabric dyeing), tour a collector's private collection of antiques, and prepare your own afternoon tea at a traditional Malaysian cafe.
- At the end of the day, return to the train and soak up the enchanting scenery outside the windows. A lively evening with a live pianist awaits you in the Piano Bar, followed by a delicious dinner. Tonight, the train stops at Butterworth.
- While enjoying breakfast in your private compartment, take in the scenic views as the train passes through the rice fields and traditional villages of West Malaysia.

DAY 3: WEST-COAST LINE – BUTTERWORTH
- Enjoy breakfast before disembarking to begin your journey to explore Penang Island – a unique cultural melting pot of Malaysia. Here, you will be able to choose from tours designed by local experts, providing a deep and rich cultural experience of Penang.
- Art lovers can explore the old town of George Town on the back of a Vespa with a guide, admiring the vibrant architecture and unique cultural landmarks, before meeting talented local artists in their studios.
- Foodies will enjoy exploring the local market, filled with the scent of spices, then continue up Penang Hill for stunning panoramic views and a cooking class at the impressive Art Deco Eythrope Villa.
- If you prefer to explore on your own, we will provide you with a cyclo, a driver and a map – so you can leisurely stroll around the charming streets of George Town, visiting shops, cafes and attractions at your leisure.
- Return to the ship at Butterworth for lunch and a relaxing afternoon on board. This is the perfect time to pamper yourself with an Asian-inspired treatment at the luxurious Dior Spa . Choose from a range of rejuvenating massages and facials in a warm and inviting space filled with handcrafted tropical wood and Dior’s iconic Toile de Jouy motif.
- Afterwards, you can continue to relax on the train or take a stroll in Ipoh city – the gateway to Cameron Highlands, where ancient beauty meets modern street art. This former tin mining capital city is famous for its splendid architecture from its heyday.
- Back on board, the final night will be a memorable celebration of fine dining, great entertainment and great conversation. After dinner, you can catch a glimpse of Kuala Lumpur as the train passes by. The train continues through the night.

DAY 4: JOHOR – SINGAPORE
Enjoy breakfast in the restaurant car with your fellow passengers as the train passes through Johor – Malaysia’s southernmost state, known for its stunning beaches and lush rainforests. Soon after, the train crosses the straits back to Singapore, where you’ll end your journey with wonderful memories to cherish forever.
